(CRYSTAL RIVER, FLORIDA) – Today, HDG Hotels announced its first new addition for the new year. The Florida-based hotel development and management company has acquired the Holiday Inn Express – Crystal River (1203 NE 5th Street). The Holiday Inn Express, an InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) hotel, brings the HDG Hotels portfolio to a total of 18 properties that stretch coast to coast across Florida, and grows its team to over 500 members.
“With an existing footprint of hotels in the market already, we are excited to be in a position to once again invest in this region of Florida,” says Navroz Saju, CEO and President of HDG Hotels and an officer on the IHG Global Board of Directors. “We will begin a $2 million renovation at the hotel within the year and, most importantly, we look forward to partnering with and positively impacting the community and the tremendous team in place at the Holiday Inn Express in Crystal River.”
This Holiday Inn Express is the first of HDG Hotels’ acquisition and development projects on the horizon for the growing company in 2020.
